At FableFits Shop, we’re committed to making your costume experience as magical as possible. If your costume doesn’t fit perfectly or match your enchanting expectations, we’re here to help with our straightforward return and exchange process.
Important: You have 15 days from the delivery date to initiate a return or exchange for most items.
Return & Exchange Conditions
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Item must be in original condition with all tags attached
- Item must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged
- Original packaging must be included
- Return must be initiated within 15 days of delivery
Non-Returnable Items
Based on our product offerings and to maintain quality standards, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Holiday Costumes purchased within 7 days of the holiday date
- Opened or used costume accessories that affect hygiene
- Customized or altered costumes
- Final sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 2: Wait for Authorization
Our support team will review your request within 1-2 business days and email you a Return Authorization Number and shipping instructions.
Step 3: Ship Your Return
Package your item securely with the original packaging and include a copy of your order confirmation. Ship to our returns address:

Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).
Step 4: Processing
Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect the item and process your refund or exchange within 3-5 business days.
Refund Information
Once your return is approved, here’s what you can expect:
Refund Timeline
- Credit Card Payments: 5-10 business days after return processing
- PayPal Payments: 3-5 business days after return processing
What Will Be Refunded
- Full cost of returned items
- Original shipping fees (if entire order is returned)
Non-refundable: Return shipping costs (unless return is due to our error)
Important: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot issue refunds to different payment methods or accounts.
Exchange Process
If you’d like to exchange your item for a different size or costume:
- Follow the same return process outlined above
- Clearly indicate in your request form that you want an exchange
- Specify the replacement item and size you prefer
- We’ll ship your exchange once we receive and process your return
Exchange Shipping: We cover the shipping costs for exchange items to ensure you get your replacement costume quickly.
International Returns
For our global customers outside the United States:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs fees and import duties are non-refundable
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional customs charges
- Return processing may take additional time for international shipments
